DA'IKAMTIBMAS OF KANDIS POLICE SHARES MASKS TO CONCERN THE IMPACT OF HAZE

KANDIS -Da'ikamtibmas Kandis Police on Sunday morning (9/22) carried out social activities. Where this activity is in the form of distributing masks to the community in the Pemda Market, Telaga Sam-Sam Village, Kandis District, Siak Regency. The distribution of masks aims to reduce the haze currently experienced by the Kandis community. A number of people who want to shop at the Sunday market also welcomed the activity, as well as the traders.

According to one of the residents of Telaga Sam-Sam Village named Suminah to this media admitted that she was very happy with the mask distribution activity carried out by Da'ikamtibmas of Kandis Police. “Thanks to Da'ikamtibmas of Kandis Police for organizing activities like this. So we can avoid haze with these masks, thank you again,” she said.Chairman of Da'ikamtibmas Kandis Police Irwanto said that the activity was a collaboration between Da'ikamtibmas Kandis Police, Siak Regency DPRD member H. Kusman Jaya and also PT. Mutiara Unggul Lestari (PT. MUL).

“Alhamdulillah, this morning we have carried out social activities in the form of distributing free masks to the community. This is a collaboration between Da'ikamtibmas Kandis Police, Siak Regency DPRD Member H. Kusman Jaya and PT MUL Kandis. We hope that these masks can be useful for the community to avoid the current haze,” he explained.

Meanwhile, H. Kusman Jaya, a member of the Siak Regency DPRD who is also part of the Da'ikamtibmas members of the Kandis Police explained that the mask distribution activity could reduce the negative impact of the haze currently experienced by the community.

“First, I hope and pray to Allah SWT that rain will fall soon. Then through this activity we socialize to the community, that there are 5 impacts caused by smoke, namely 1. ARI, 2. pneumonia, 3. asthma, 4. eye irritation, 5. skin irritation. So if we are outside the house, we must wear a mask, especially for children and pregnant women, and the elderly. So this morning we collaborated with PT MUL and Da'ikamtibmas Kandis Police to go to the Pemda market to distribute these masks,” he explained.

Hopefully activities like this can set an example in the community. Where in an effort to reduce this haze, it takes the cooperation of all parties to jointly move in the community. It is hoped that this activity will benefit many people.
