The company's concern for PT Mutiara UngguL Lestari and attention to the children of the community around the PT MUL Company environment has indeed become a permanent commitment and has been running for the 4th year for the scholarship program in Kandis District since 2016 and has been realized with many real actions that directly touch the target. For this 4th year as many as 13 outstanding children from the community around the PT MUL Company were awarded scholarships, Wednesday, 07/31/2019.

PT MUL through HRD Staff Ermi Lorentika explained, “Scholarship assistance to children around the Company's environment is specifically given to community children who excel and have ranks in their respective schools and this program is a CSR program of PT MUL which is carried out on an ongoing basis where the awarding is carried out annually when entering the new school year and this year is the fourth program for scholarship assistance.

“This is a form of concern and attention of PT MUL which is very concerned about the quality of education of school children, especially for children who have good achievements and has also become the company's commitment in the form of a sense of concern for the company's education and the nation's children, especially the children of the community around the company who excel,” he said.

Production Staff Syafrizal representing the Management of PT MUL also added, “Alhamdulillah, this year the provision of CSR scholarship assistance for outstanding children from Telaga Sam - sam Village & Simpang Belutu Village was held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the PT MUL office, increasing in number from the previous year, this time almost fulfilling the quota of our scholarship program.

“We hope that the 13 children who have received the scholarship assistance CSR program from PT.MUL Company can continue to improve their achievements in their respective schools besides that of course this provides benefits for the children of the Telaga Sam-Sam Village community and the children of the Simpang Belutu Village community that we have provided scholarship assistance and we have also provided similar assistance in the previous year and to parents let us together take care and pay attention to our children,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, according to RW 08 Sudirman and RW 01 Didi Oyong really appreciated what PT.MUL Company had done “We as representatives of the Government and the people of Telaga Sam-Sam Village and Simpang Belutu Village, Kandis District are very grateful for the scholarship assistance that has been given to a number of children, hopefully this can ease the burden on parents, especially on the parents of the child who has received scholarship assistance from the PT MUL Company,” he said.

A number of children and parents seemed happy with the assistance they received. Hopefully this can provide relief for their parents who are still underprivileged.
