PT Mahkota Group Tbk, through its subsidiary PT Mutiara Unggul Lestari, provides 100 basic food packages (5 Kg of Rice and 2 Ltr of Cooking Oil) for the people around Telaga Sam-sam Village and Simpang Belutu Village, as well as 20 packages of sakai kec kandis residents who are economically affected due to the Covid 19 virus outbreak pandemic.

As the Manager of PT Mutiara Unggul Lestari, Budiono also explained that he had collected data through RW & RT in each village that would be given assistance, the distribution and assistance of basic necessities were directly provided by the company accompanied by RW & RT to the homes of people who were economically affected by the Covid 19 virus outbreak pandemic.

The distribution of basic necessities was also attended by Said Irwan SE Camat Kandis, Sudirman Rw Kel. Telaga sam-sam and Didi Oyong RW Kel.Simp.Belutu which was carried out on Saturday, 5/16/20.

Budiono explained that PT Mahkota Group through PT MUL also provided 26 packs of Disinfectant Liquid assistance to Telaga Sam-sam Village, 4 sets of PPE clothing (HAZMAD clothing) to the Covid 19 Outbreak Handling Post in Kandis District, 250 Pcs masks and the masks were distributed to SPSI who dismantled FFB in the factory and residents around the company environment.

In the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) that have been enforced by the current government, the PSBB starts on May 15-28, 2020, and applies to Siak District, for this reason Budiono appealed to all housing residents, staff / employees, PT MUL during the Covid 19 virus outbreak, not allowed to enter the RED ZONE area, if anyone violates it will be given strict sanctions up to termination, and let's take care of each other and love our families, keep our distance, wear masks, always wash our hands by complying with appeals and prohibitions from the government.

So that it can break the chain of the spread of the Covid 19 virus outbreak that is currently happening, in providing basic food assistance at this time it is running smoothly, and orderly, said Budiono.​

Kandis Sub-District Head Said Irwan SE, expressed his gratitude to the Management of PT MUL for carrying out social activities for the community around the Company's environment affected by the Covid 19 virus, and currently the PSBB in Siak district has been enforced, so at any time the Kandis sub-district government together with, TNI, police and Siak Transportation Department always conduct raids both for migrants, gatherings and the sub-district head also explained that if there is a gathering it must be dispersed above 20 hours. 00 pm at night, asked Kandis residents not to leave the house, and obey the PSBB rules, it was all done by the government for the safety of all of us, let us fight together and break the spread of this Corona virus outbreak, “said the sub-district head.
