MAHKOTA GROUP (MGRO) TARGETS TO OPERATE COOKING OIL FACTORY IN AUGUST 2019

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) is targeting the construction of a cooking oil factory and kernel crushing plant or palm kernel factory in Dumai to start operating in August 2019.
MGRO President Director Usli Sarsi explained, currently the progress of the construction of this factory has been running around 25%. “It is targeted to be completed in July next year, so that in August it can start operating,” he said.
To smoothen the plan, during the first six months of 2019, MGRO will focus on completing the construction of the factory.
As noted by Kontan.co.id, this factory has a cooking oil production capacity of 1,500 tons per day. Meanwhile, the kernel crushing plant will be able to produce 400 tons of palm kernel oil per day.
For the construction of the factory, MGRO prepared a capital expenditure of IDR 330 billion. In detail, funds from the IPO proceeds amounted to IDR 90 billion, and the remaining IDR 120 billion from the company's internal cash and IDR 120 billion from bank loans.
With the running of the cooking oil factory and palm kernel oil factory, Usli hopes to increase sales of CPO and its derivatives and MGRO's net profit.
“Revenue is expected to reach IDR 5 trillion. Meanwhile, net profit is targeted to reach IDR 123 billion, up 150% from the 2018 target,” he concluded.
