PT MAS PALM OIL MILL ACQUISITION, THIS IS THE PROFIT INCREASE TARGET SET BY PT BIM

Muaraenim, Sumselupdate.com – PT Mahkota Andalan Sawit (MAS) which is located on the Palembang-Prabumulih Cross Highway, precisely in the Gelumbang area of Muaraenim Regency, South Sumatra Province, has now changed its name to PT Berlian Inti Mekar (BIM).

The name change after PT BIM which is a subsidiary of PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) has completed the acquisition process of PT MAS's palm oil mill with a value of IDR 120 billion.

President Director of PT Mahkota Group Tbk, Usli Sarsi through the Director of Operations of PT BIM Palembang, Fuad Halimoen explained, the process of acquiring a palm oil mill with a capacity of 45 tons per hour was after the signing of a sale and purchase agreement between PT MAS and PT BIM on November 8, 2019.

Fuad Halimoen said, with the acquisition value of the palm oil mill reaching IDR 120 billion, the contribution of profit income increased by around 12.5% starting in November 2019.

According to Fuad, the increase in revenue contribution will have a positive impact on the Mahkota Group's balance sheet in 2019.

He said, the acquisition of a palm oil mill in the Gelumbang area of South Sumatra was announced by the Mahkota Group in September 2019, only two months later the acquisition process was completed.


Fuad added, in addition to adding a palm oil mill located on the Palembang-Prabumulih KM 54 crossing road, precisely in Gelumbang Muaraenim Regency, MGRO is currently close to completing the palm oil refinery construction project.

This refinery plant will produce CPO derivative products such as Olein or cooking oil and stearin as raw material for margarine or Oleochemical.

“The administrative affairs of marketing the processed products are also being completed in parallel. Later, when the refinery is in production, the company's long-term financial performance will be more positive,” said Fuad Halimoen. (vir)
