BORNEONEWS, Pangkalan Bun - Plantation company PT Mahkota Group Tbk is targeting a net profit of IDR 123 billion this year.

The publication material quoted on Monday (5/6/2019) stated that the plan to achieve this net profit was supported by revenue estimated at IDR 5.6 trillion.

To support the plan, the company has prepared a business strategy, such as developing a palm oil processing business, strategic cooperation with business partners, opportunities for acquisitions, improving efficiency, and improving the quality of human resources.

Currently, the company is completing the construction of a refinery plant with a capacity of 1,500 tons per day and a kernel crushing plant with a capacity of 200-400 tons per day at PT Intan Sejati Andalan, located in Bengkalis, Riau.

The progress of the factory construction has reached around 60%.

As of the first quarter of 2019, the company's CPO and palm kernel sales reached 67.354 million tons, up 35% from 49.905 million tons in the same period last year.

Thus, the company's revenue was boosted by 8% from IDR 411.027 billion to IDR 444.302 billion. Thus, the company made a net profit of IDR 9.654 billion from the previous loss of IDR 24.909 billion. (NEDELYA RAMADHANI/m)​
