MAHKOTA GROUP SPREAD DIVIDENDS

Bisnis.com, MEDAN - PT Mahkota Group Tbk. distributed dividends to shareholders after obtaining positive performance throughout 2018.

President Director of Mahkota Group Usli Sarsi said the company will distribute cash dividends of IDR 21.13 billion or 25% of the company's net profit in 2018, which amounted to IDR 84.51 billion. Shareholders will receive dividends of IDR 6 per share.

“We distribute dividends of 25% of the total net profit in 2018, IDR 84.51 billion,” he said in a public expose in Medan, Thursday (9/5/2019) evening.

According to him, since listing on the stock exchange in July 2018, the company's performance has continued to rise. In the 2018 financial report released on Monday (3/25/2019), the revenue recorded by the issuer coded MGRO shares was worth IDR 2 trillion, up 13.63% from IDR 1.76 trillion in the same period the previous year.

In detail, the three largest sources of income for Mahkota Group came from crude palm oil, palm kernel and tank rental services worth IDR 1.51 trillion, IDR 355.58 billion and IDR 68.12 billion, respectively. MGRO also has sources of income from shells, management services and others with a value of IDR 56.87 billion, IDR 800.51 million and IDR 5.6 billion respectively.

Total assets booked in 2018 amounted to IDR 1.07 trillion, up 11.74% from IDR 964.71 billion in the same period the previous year. The assets consisted of liabilities worth IDR 412.32 billion and equity of IDR 665.82 billion.

He assessed that the company's performance is increasingly prospective along with a number of business plans in the downstream sector. One of them is the construction of a cooking oil factory with a capacity of 1,500 tons/day in Bengkalis Regency, Riau. The progress of the factory construction has now touched 60% and is targeted to be operational in August 2019.​

“Usually the refinery is abroad, but we are building it domestically and the progress is now 60%,” he said.
