Changed
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Brigjend Katamso National Education Foundation, Usli Sarsi, in his remarks reminded that industrial reform 4.0 has brought major changes. Not only in the industrial sector there have been changes, but also in almost all sectors, including the education sector. In the past, education was more about theory, but now it is more about practice.
“From now on, I ask that the education carried out in this school not be done monotonously. If students have been learning indoors, but also learn in the open such as under trees, in the field,” he said.
The changes made should not neglect the ethical education that characterizes this school. Ethical education is very important. Technology may develop. Many jobs that have been done by humans can be done by technology that has artificial intelligence. But keep in mind that technology does not have ethics or morals.
Technology must still be controlled by humans. What happens if technology is controlled by humans who have no ethics.
This is very dangerous. Ethical education is not only about good manners, but also about caring for the environment. Preserving the environment must be done from an early age. Lack of concern for preserving the environment has led to various natural disasters.
Digital
Rector of Mahkota Tricom Unggul University (MTU), Prof Dr Ir H Zulkarnain Lubis MS PhD in his remarks congratulated the 9th Anniversary of Brigjend Katamso 2 School and the teachers who just celebrated the PGRI Anniversary.
Zulkarnain said that teachers cannot become great or rich people. But the teaching profession can give birth to great people or rich people. Therefore, he does not agree if teachers are said to be unsung heroes. Teachers are heroes whose services must always be remembered and remembered.
The development of digital technology, like it or not, must be accepted. Nowadays, almost everyone in the world uses cellphones, which are digital technology devices. “We should not be users, but can also utilize digital technology for business,” said Zulkarnain.
Digital business is developing very rapidly. In the future, human resources are needed to manage digital businesses.
MTU University is currently the only PTS that has a digital business study program. By studying digital business knowledge, you can get a job or open a job field.
