UNDERGRADUATE MAHKOTA TRICOM UNGGUL MUST BE OUT OF THE BOX

31 March 2021

School of Economics (STIE) Mahkota Tricom Unggul (MTU) Medan graduated 42 students from the Business Management class XIII at the Grand Ballroom of Karabia Hotel, Monday (29/3).

Chairman of the Mahkota Tricom College Foundation, Usli Sarsi asked the graduates of STIE MTU Medan to become scholars who are sensitive to changing times and think out of the box.

“Thinking out of the box is thinking creatively, innovatively, and can adapt to the times. In fact, it must have a concern to help solve problems in this country,” he said.

Usli Sarsi also hopes that STIE MTU graduates can open up jobs. According to him, currently job opportunities are getting narrower due to digitalization and the widespread use of artificial intelligence.

The title of Best Graduate at this graduation was given to Sai Vinodhini from S1 Management.

“I am happy with this achievement. But I also wondered to my lecturer, why am I the best graduate? It turns out that the best graduates are not seen from the cumlaude grades. But it is seen from the attitude and attendance at the lectures,” he said.

According to him, the most memorable experience during his lectures at STIE MTU Medan was group work. “Group work is working together with college friends to solve problems and compile papers and discuss,” he said.

Chairman of STIE MTU Medan Prof. Ir. H. Zulkarnain Lubis, M.S., Ph.D advised the graduates to give their best as members of the community.

“So the campus is not just about learning science. But the most important thing is to change the mindset,” he said.
