PT Karya Pratama Niaga (KPNJ) in collaboration with the Blood Donor Unit (UDD) of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Batu Bara Regency for the second time held a blood donor social action as well as free blood type checks for children of employees on Sunday, (26/6/2022) at PT KPNJ Tanjung Seri, Laut Tador, Batu Bara, North Sumatra.

The Chairman of PT KPNJ, Gede Eka Pramudya, expressed his gratitude to the UDD PMI of Batu Bara Regency for giving his party the opportunity to hold a blood donation for the second time, because blood donation activities are also part of the company's charity for humanity.

“This blood donation activity has many benefits, especially for people who need blood. While for donors, it is also beneficial for health, such as maintaining heart health, increasing red blood cell production and so on,” said Eka Pramudya.

This blood donation, said Eka Pramudya, is a social agenda of PT KPNJ which is routinely held every 3 months. For that, representing the management of PT KPNJ, Eka expressed his gratitude to the employees and extended family of PT KPNJ who have routinely donated their blood at the blood donor activities held by the company.

“We also hope that this blood donation becomes a field of worship. Hopefully, a drop of blood that we donate can provide a better life for those who need blood,” he said.

On the sidelines of the blood donation activity, Eka said that his party also carried out free blood gologan examination activities for children of employees in the company he leads.

“This blood type examination activity is held in the context of early detection, in order to prepare a generation of young donors as well as facilitate school-age children from an early age to know their blood type. Most of the children of our employees here do not know their blood type, only a small number have done the examination,” concluded Eka Pramudya.
