Rector of Mahkota Tricom Unggul University (MTU) Dr. Dompak Pasaribu SE, M.Si, CPA, CACP and Rector of Universitas Airlangga Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education which includes the fields of education, research, and community service at Campus C Mulyorejo Surabaya Sunday, October 30, 2022.

“It is hoped that Airlangga University as one of the best universities in Indonesia can become a mentor for MTU University. We really hope that Airlangga University can provide various experiences to MTU University,” said Dompak.

With a memorandum of understanding, MTU University can learn from Airlangga University's experience in implementing the Tridarma of Higher Education and other matters deemed necessary such as the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka program.

“There will be many forms of cooperation that can be carried out so that MTU University can learn. With this collaboration, MTU University can follow in the footsteps of Airlangga University as the best university in Indonesia. Therefore, I am very grateful for the cooperation,” he said.

Dompak explained that MTU University was originally in the form of a College of Economics (STIE) which only had two study programs, namely S1 Management and DIII Accounting. Then it changed its form to Mahkota Tricom Unggul University with the addition of 4 study programs namely Digital Business, Information Systems, Information Technology and Agribusiness.

“Universitas Airlangga is ready to foster and support MTU University according to its needs,” said Rector of Universitas Airlangga Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak.

The signing of the MoU was witnessed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Cooperation and Management Agency of Universitas Airlangga.
