MTU UNIVERSITY SIGNS MOU FOR MBKM PROGRAM WITH PT MDI

Rector of Mahkota Tricom Unggul University (MTU) Dr. Dompak Pasaribu S.E, M.Si, CPA, CACP together with the President Director of PT Mark Dynamics Indonesia (MDI) Tbk, Ridwan Goh signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the Merdeka Campus Learning Program and matters deemed necessary and mutually supportive in carrying out the duties and functions of both parties at PT MDI Desa Dalu X A, Gang Baru, Tanjung Morawa District, Deliserdang Regency, North Sumatra Thursday (7/9).
The scope of the MoU includes joint activities in the fields of education and teaching, joint activities in research and community service, carrying out date sharing / transplantation of management personnel and joint activities in developing management and organizing independent learning programs on independent campuses.
“We are very happy to be able to sign an MoU with PT MDI,” said MTU University Rector Dr. Dompak Pasaribu SE, M.Si, CPA, CACP accompanied by Vice Rector Yenni Martok, SE, MM, MBA.
He said PT MDI is the only glove mold producing company in Indonesia and the largest in the world. MDI has been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since 2017. This means that everyone can own this company by buying shares with the code MARK.
With the signing of the MoU, MTU students can do internships at the company. That way students not only get education on campus but also companies that can be a provision for work or entrepreneurship.
In addition, the board of directors or managers of PT MDI can also give lectures in the form of public lectures so that the reality of work can be shared with students.
“At MTU University we set an independent learning campus. Apart from collaborating with various companies, we also make public lectures by attending practitioners who are competent in their fields,” he said.
MTU University has six study programs namely Management, Digital Business, Agribusiness, Information Systems, Information Engineering and Accounting.
Each study program will collaborate with each other, so that MTU University graduates have expertise in their fields.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT MDI, Ridwan Goh, revealed that this MoU can provide benefits, not only for the company but also MTU University. Companies produce goods while universities produce human resources. Without reliable and competent resources in their fields, they will not produce quality goods.
