BUDI UTOMO AND CINTA BUDAYA HIGHSCHOOL CONDUCT CAMPUS TOUR TO MTU UNIVERSITY

For two days Friday and Saturday November 15-16, 2024, Mahkota Tricom Unggul University received a visit (Campus Tour) from Budi Utomo and Cinta Budaya high school students. The visit was directly received by the Rector of Mahkota Tricom Unggul University (MTU), Dr. Dompak Pasaribu, SE, M.Si, CPA, CACP and the academic community of MTU University.
The Rector of MTU University, Dr. Dompak Pasaribu, SE, M.Si, CPA, CACP said that MTU University is open to class XII students who want to visit MTU University to see firsthand the lecture halls and facilities located on Floors 24 and 25 of the Grand Jati Junction Tower 3 Building, Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan No. 3A Medan.
“MTU University has two faculties and six programs. The Faculty of Science and Technology consists of Information Technology, Information Systems and Agribusiness programs. The Faculty of Social Sciences consists of Digital Business, Management and Accounting programs,” said Dompak Pasaribu.
He explained that MTU University provides opportunities for outstanding students from underprivileged families to get KIP scholarships, foundation scholarships, and scholarships from companies. In addition, the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) is very affordable and can be paid in installments every month.
Furthermore, Dompak Pasaribu said, MTU University has collaborated with the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) North Sumatra, so that MTU University students find it easier to get an internship. In addition, MTU University students every year have the opportunity to do internships at PT Mahkota Group Tbk. “We hope that MTU graduates will gain experience working in national and international scale companies during their studies. This is very important so that MTU students find it easier to get a job after completing the lecture, “he explained.
In addition to campus tour activities to get to know the campus facilities, MTU University also held a workshop that discussed digital, namely Virtual Dreams, Real Income: Exploring The Power of 3d Animation delivered by Andy Tya.
In workshop activities students are taught the workflow of using ArchiCAD so that they can produce stunning design work. This workshop will thoroughly discuss how to produce 2D and 3D building designs complete with materials, lighting, background/environment and rendering.
Principal of SMA Budi Utomo Ani, S.E, S.Pd, M.M, M.Pd who accompanied the students who went on a campus tour to MTU University admitted that she was very happy to be able to visit MTU University, so that students could determine the university after completing education at Budi Utomo school. Likewise, the accompanying teacher of Cinta Budaya students, Erick R Sirait, S.Pd is very supportive of the campus tour activities carried out by MTU University.
