MAHKOTA GROUP PRODUCED 77.502 TONS OF CPO DURING JANUARY-MAY

BORNEONEWS, Pangkalan Bun - During the period January to May this year, palm oil issuer PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) has produced 77,502 tons of crude palm oil (CPO).
“In this second quarter, we hope to pocket revenues around IDR 1.4 trillion,” said Secretary of Mahkota Group, Elvi, in Jakarta, Monday (07/08/2019).
It is projected that demand for CPO and its derivatives will increase along with the increase in the biodiesel program. Currently, MGRO is building a refinery or crude palm oil refining plant which is targeted to operate in the near future.
“Currently the construction progress has reached 80% and is expected to be commissioned in August 2019,” said Elvi.
The plant will produce cooking oil with a production capacity of 1,500 tons per day, while the kernel crushing plant will produce 400 tons of palm kernel oil per day.
In addition, through its subsidiary PT Dumai Pracipta Abadi, they will increase the capacity of the stockpile tank by 20,000 metric tons, currently the company has a stockpile tank with a capacity of 76,000 tons.
To work on the downstream program by building a refinery plant and adding stockpile tanks, MGRO has prepared a capital expenditure of IDR 200 billion this year. Until April 2019, the absorption of capital expenditure amounted to IDR 53.2 billion, most of which was used to build a refinery plant.
