CPO PRODUCT DOWNSTREAMING AND EXPORT ENCHANCEMENT PT MAHKOTA GROUP TBK (MGRO)

Medan - Originating from a Palm Oil Mill Construction Contractor, PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) which now has as many as 7 Palm Oil Mills, 2 of which are in North Sumatra, 4 are in Riau and 1 is in South Sumatra. Now it continues to innovate to increase production results in downstream CPO products and increase exports. Usli Sarsi also admitted that he is optimistic that the company he leads can continue its positive performance for the rest of the year with better results. Because based on the financial report for the first semester of 2021, MGRO scored sales of IDR 2.65 trillion, up 107 percent year-on-year. MGRO recorded sales of more than 10 percent to third parties, namely : Agri Oils Pte Ltd, Sover Trade Pte Ltd, PT Musim Mas, and PT Intibenua Perkasatama.
According to the President Director of Mahkota Group Usli Sarsi, the improvement in the Company's performance was supported by the level of CPO prices which remained high throughout 2021. According to him, CPO prices that have touched the range of US $ 1,100 per ton allow MGRO to record encouraging sales figures supported by an increase in the company's CPO production capacity.
PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO), which had revised its performance target for this year due to the impact of the co-19 pandemic, by reducing its projection by around 30% for revenue and profit until the end of the year, but Usli Sarsi admitted that he remained realistic in setting the company's performance, because indeed the impact of co-19 was not felt too much for the company's operations. Namely by preparing several strategies and several breakthroughs and innovations.
In terms of developing palm waste processing, Usli Sarsi admitted that PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) has collaborated with a company in France with the development of processing palm waste into methane gas. And it is expected to be an added value, because the methane gas produced can be processed into fuel gas for power plants or power plants. and this green energy will also be built in Riau which can provide electricity to 20 thousand homes.
