The demand for cooking oil is still too high. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) on October 29, 2021, Indonesians most often use palm cooking oil, because Indonesia is the world's largest palm oil producer.

To meet local cooking oil needs, PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) supports the implementation of the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) and Domestic Price Obligation (DPO) policies for Cooking Oil.

“MGRO starting in February 2022 has sold 20% of palm oil or Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in stages from the production of palm oil mills through its subsidiary PT Intan Sejati Andalan. The price per kg is the price set by the government, which is IDR 9,300 / kg.” Said Elvi, who is the Corporate Secretary of MGRO.

The company, which is engaged in oil palm plantations, hopes that the support provided will be able to maintain the availability of cooking oil supplies in the local market at friendly prices and good quality.
