23 June 2022
Rector of Mahkota Tricom Unggul University (MTU) Dr. Dompak Pasaribu SE, M.Si, CPA, CACP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rector of Quality University (UQ) Dr. Dedi Holden Simbolon, S.Si., M.Pd and Rector of Quality University Berastagi (UQB) Prof. Dr. Erna Frida, M.Si in the Quality University Hall room, Monday (6/20).
The Rector of MTU University, Dr. Dompak Pasaribu SE, M.Si, CPA, CACP in his remarks said that managing education must be done continuously. Through the collaboration carried out by MTU University with UQ and MTU University with UQB, it can build a good structure.
“It takes the commitment of both parties, so that standards and implementation can be accounted for,” he explained.
If all that is done is just to complete accountability, added Dompak, then building a university will be difficult. So everything must be done consistently.
Cooperation is very important, but it is more important to follow up on the cooperation.
“There are many more challenges ahead, but with the collaboration of both parties, it is hoped that common goals can be achieved,” he said.
Meanwhile, UQ Rector Dr. Dedi Holden Simbolon, S.Si., M.Pd in his remarks hoped that the cooperation could be carried out immediately in the fields of education, research, community service, internal quality assurance system and implementation of the Merdeka Learning - Merdeka Campus (MBKM) curriculum.
For this reason, collaboration is needed, not competition between universities. Collaboration will strengthen each other.
“I really hope that our students can practice at the company that owns MTU University,” he hoped.
The Rector of Quality University Berastagi (UQB) Prof. Dr. Erna Frida, M.Si hopes that the cooperation with MTU University will benefit both parties.
“Don't just sign it, but the most important thing is how to implement the cooperation,” he said.
