MTU UNIVERSITY HOLDS TAX VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE VS TAX AMNESTY WEBINAR

Mahkota Tricom Unggul University (MTU) together with Norbertus Simon Tax Consultant Office held an Online Webinar Program “Tax Voluntary Disclosure vs Tax Amnesty” at 10.00 - 11.45, Friday 18 February 2022.
This webinar invited Mr. Drs. Norbertus Simon, S.H., M.M., Ak from Norbertus Simon Tax Consultant Office, Tax Court Attorney, Advocate/Lawyer as the Keynote Speaker along with the Rector of MTU University, Dr. Dompak Pasaribu SE, M.Si, CPA, CACP.
Chairperson of the Webinar Committee Eka Martyna Theodora, S.E., M.M who is also the Chairperson of the MTU University Digital Business Study Program informed that as stated in the Tax Regulation Harmonization Law (HPP Law), Voluntary Tax Disclosure starts from January 1 to June 30, 2022, the Ministry of Finance is again holding a 2022 Voluntary Tax Disclosure Program as a continuation of the Tax Amnesty Volume I Program.
The main substance of voluntary tax is individual and corporate taxpayers for the 2015 and previous tax years and who have participated in Tax Amnesty volume I.
Therefore, Eka continued, through this Webinar, MTU University helps socialize information by collaborating with the Norbertus Simon Tax Consultant Office so that taxpayers can take advantage of the Tax Amnesty II opportunity to avoid tax sanctions considering that in the future the government will implement an era of IT-based data disclosure along with administrative sanctions.
There are still many taxpayers who have participated in Tax Amnesty Volume I who are still confused about what to do, especially if there are assets that have not been and or under-reported in the previous reporting period.
“The voluntary disclosure program is prepared to provide opportunities for business actors who are taxpayers to disclose assets that have not been and or under-reported in the previous reporting period.
“We hope that with this Webinar, more and more taxpayers will have awareness in reporting their assets. Let's take advantage of the Voluntary Tax Disclosure in 2022, said Eka, while jointly supporting the Indonesian Government program,” he said.
