Prof. Dr. Noorma Rosita, Msi in her presentation explained. In compiling a good curriculum there are at least four aspects. First, the curriculum must be able to function as a blue print in the transformation process of empowerment and civilization. Second, the curriculum must fulfill the Link and Match principle, namely the alignment between the competency targets to be achieved. Third, the curriculum must contain comprehensive, clear and measurable information that can serve as directions and guidelines in the implementation of learning in order to produce graduates in accordance with the expectations of interested parties. Fourth, the curriculum must meet formal legal requirements.
He explained that there are 7 stages of preparing an OBE-based curriculum, namely formulating graduate profiles, formulating graduate competencies, making a matrix of graduate profiles and competencies, determining study materials and forming courses, making course matrices and SLOs, compiling curriculum documents, and finally measuring.
In formulating a graduate profile, there must be a characteristic or role that can be performed by graduates in a particular field of expertise or field of work after completing their studies.
Meanwhile, to determine the study material, it must be carefully identified so that it is truly related to the desired competencies or elements of graduate learning outcomes.
